BRIEF HISTORY

Used as a grass landing area as early as the 1920's, the sealed runway was constructed and used by the RAAF during WWII.   The Berrima District Aero Club relocated to the airfield from its original base on Sproules Lane in Bong Bong in 1981 and managed and maintained the airfield on a lease basis before purchasing it in 2021.
